This is for their bespoke healthy eating range, Let’s Energise and for providing healthier ‘Hospitality’ options at their clients’ sites. The Health and Vitality Honours List recognises those practicing the best healthy eating values within foodservice. From the shortlist, a winner will be named from each category at an awards lunch at Lords Cricket Ground on Thursday 23rd January.
Lexington has been shortlisted in two categories; ‘Corporate Vitality Honour’ and ‘Healthy Hospitality Honour’. Lexington has always led the way in providing healthy and sustainable food to clients and customers. Their bespoke multi-award winning ‘Let’s Energise’ range focuses on providing sustained energy levels throughout the day with balanced nutrition across a varied and delicious ‘grab and go’ range which changes weekly.
The Health & Vitality Honours is a platform for businesses to showcase best practice and help create a greater transparency on the social issues of health and nutrition throughout the foodservice supply chain. The scheme is designed to recognise achievement in this area by operators in both the cost and profit sectors of the industry and in the organisations that supply them. It also aims to promote the manufacture of healthier products, the implementation of healthy living programmes in foodservice and awareness amongst consumers of the industry’s work and achievements.
Having won the FSM Award for Marketing and Innovation in 2011, Let’s Energise won the Grab & Go Concept Award at the 2013 Lunch Business Awards.
