We know the crucial role that food can play on a pupil’s ability to learn, develop and ultimately flourish. Food isn’t simply fuel, it’s critical to creating happy, healthy and inquisitive young minds.
Our flavour packed menus take inspiration from the latest highstreet trends, big global flavours, and of course British classics – ensuring we cater to all appetites and tastes.
Enjoying great tasting healthy food early on often leads to healthy eating habits that stay with you for life.
Our menus are developed with our in-house team of nutrition and dietetic experts to ensure we support pupils, parents and schools on nurturing healthy eating habits across all age groups.
Our teams are focused on delivering healthy, balanced meals and snack options across the day that are nutritious, great tasting and look incredible.
We have a bespoke collection of award-winning healthy eating brands that are designed to appeal to a range of tastes and needs.
Our philosophy on food sustainability is fundamental to our whole approach in delivering seasonal, creative and delicious food, sourced from trusted and traceable local and national suppliers.
We take great care to buy our food from the best growers, producers and suppliers and are committed to sourcing food regionally and locally wherever possible. This means our menus have a focus on using British ingredients. Not only does this support a school’s local community but in turn minimises the carbon footprint of the entire service.
Across our services we are fastidious about using sustainably and ethically sourced produce. Our guests can enjoy their meal knowing that we are purchasing responsibly, sourcing the best free range, Fairtrade and organic produce.
We were the first contract caterer to be recognised as a Three Star Sustainability Champion by the Sustainable Restaurant Association (their highest accolade) and one that we hold to this day.
We take our responsibility to provide safe, healthy and great tasting food to all our customers incredibly seriously – nowhere more so than in a school environment.
We have a rigorous allergen training and information framework that every member of staff must complete before they start with us. On site, our teams have daily allergen briefings on that day’s menu and we have an ‘Allergen Champion’ – this role is taken on by an experienced team member who has been trained to provide colleagues with additional knowledge.
Our kitchen teams use a central online management tool called StarChef which provides allergens for dishes they are cooking.
