The awards, which are run by Caterer and Hotelkeeper magazine, recognise and honour the elite within our foodservice industry. Lexington cemented their reputation as being an industry innovator, winning three out of the four awards that they were shortlisted for;

Chef of the Year – Robert Kirby, Chef Director
Regional Manager of the Year – Chloe Smith, Operations Manager
Business and Industry Caterer of the Year – Lexington Catering

Julia Edmonds, Managing Director, said ‘These awards are special in that they recognise some of the best people across the foodservice sector so to walk away with three awards underpins the remarkable talent that we have at Lexington’.

Rob Kirby, Chef Director, said ‘Winning the Chef of the Year award in the Foodservice Cateys very first year felt so incredibly special! Having worked in this sector for many years, to see it change so dramatically to what it represents today and having worked alongside so many talented, driven and disciplined chefs, it is truly an honour to share this award with all those people that I have worked with over the last 20 years!’

The evening was hosted by comedian Josh Widdicombe who led the awards ceremony in front of 500 guests from the catering and hospitality sector. Lexington’s Foodservice Cateys triumph follows on from the great honour of their Chief Executive, Mike Sunley, being named the Foodservice Caterer of the Year at the 30th anniversary of the prestigious Catey Awards, which took place earlier this year.
