A fabulous opportunity to join Lexington Catering as an apprentice chef
Lexington Catering’s award winning apprentice scheme, Lex School of Talent, is now open for aspiring chefs to join the 2017/2018 programme.
Lex School of Talent is an exciting scheme which allows apprentices to earn a salary while they build an amazing career and work towards a professional qualification from The University of West London.
The two year apprenticeship programme offers individuals the chance to:
– Work with the Galvin brothers apprentice programme, Galvin’s Chance.
– Work at some of Lexington’s top sites and the opportunity to work at Michelin starred kitchens.
– Gain mentoring from Lexington and Galvin Restaurants head chefs and food development team.
– Go on day trips to meet suppliers and have time out to gain NVQ Levels 1, 2 and 3 from the University of West London.
Daniel Goldfarb, Former Apprentice now Chef de Partie, says, “Lex School of Talent has given me an ideal platform to build an amazing career. There are so many things about my job that I love, but my favourite part is the satisfaction you get when you’ve made something from start to finish, and you get to see people enjoying what you’ve made. I like to take a lot of care and pride in what I do, and when you get to see someone enjoying the end product it’s a wonderful feeling.”
