The awards, which are now in their third year, took place on Monday 25th November at the Grange Hotel, Tower Bridge.
The awards, run by Foodservice Magazine, recognise and honour the elite within our foodservice industry. Lexington cemented their reputation as being an industry leader, winning two out of the three awards that they were shortlisted for;
• Chef of the Year – David Steel, Group Development Chef
• Area Manager of the Year – Chloe Smith, Operations Manager
Chloe Smith, Operations Manager, said ‘I feel so honoured to win the FSM Area Manager of the Year Award. It’s wonderful to be recognised by the industry for the dedication and hard work that we do on a daily basis. These awards are a wonderful end to what has been a great year for us all at Lexington.’
David Steel, Group Development Chef, said ‘I am chuffed to bits to win the Chef of the Year at the FSM Awards. I am so proud of all the work that me and my team do on a daily basis – this award recognises our entire family of Lexy chefs, not just me.’
The awards ceremony was attended by over 400 guests from the catering and hospitality sector. The FSM Awards follow an incredibly successful year of awards for Lexington with awards and accolades from the Cateys, the Foodservice Cateys, Lunch Business Awards, Acorn Awards and now the FSM Awards.
