Lexington Catering has been shortlisted for Contract Caterer of the Year at the 2015 Sustainable Restaurant Awards 2015. The awards honour restaurants, cafes, pubs, bars, contract caterers, cookery schools and hotels, who are members of the SRA, and who in the last year have made extraordinary accomplishments to drive forward their organisation’s and industry’s sustainability.
Three finalists (Lexington Catering, Artizian and Bartlet Mitchell) are up for The Contract Caterer of the Year Award, which will be presented by SRA President, Raymond Blanc, on the 23 February 2015 at The Oval Space. The decision is based on the Sustainable Restaurant Association score, which is generated through an assessment across the three pillars of sustainability; sourcing, society and environment.
The shortlist for the nationwide awards includes some of the best-known names in the food industry, including Hawksmoor, Wahaca and Carluccio’s. The awards recognise the achievements of the very best sustainable food service businesses in the UK and globally.
Past winners of SRA Awards include; River Cottage, Belmond Le Manoir aux Quat’Saisons, The Savoy and Wahaca – Lexington Catering hopes to be joining this prestigious list of winners!
