Lexington’s Chef Development Team Shortlisted For FSM Innovation Award

Lexington Catering’s chef development team has been shortlisted for the Innovation Award, at this year’s prestigious FSM Awards. The awards, which are run by B&I Catering magazine, recognise those outstanding individuals and teams who have made a huge contribution to the industry – the ‘exceptional talent’ of the contract catering world. 

Lexington’s chef development team has been working hard to drive innovation across the business and individual sites. Over the last year the development team has launched a number of new healthy food concepts, including ‘Grains&Greens’, which was developed specifically for customers wanting a vegetarian and vegan option.

With nearly 30% of people in the UK saying they are cutting back on meat the new ‘Grains&Greens’ range brings a unique approach to menu development. 

Jon Lilley, Group Development Chef at Lexington, has also been shortlisted for the FSM Awards, within the Executive Chef of the Year category. The awards take place at the prestigious Lancaster Hotel, on Monday 21st November 2016.
